We arrive in Serengeti in time for an exciting game viewing drive in one of the best game parks in Tanzania. Covering an area of 14,763 square kilometers, the world famous Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s oldest park and one of the world’s last great wildlife refuges. It stretches as far as Lake Victoria to the West. Its name comes from the Masai word Siringet, meaning ‘endless plains’
You enjoy game viewing as you drive to your lodge.
Serengeti Sopa lodge – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included.

Day 4: Tracing the Big five in central Serengeti
You rise early to take a morning game drive through the park to see the nocturnal predators returning from their nightly hunt and very active animals waking up in the early morning light. If you are lucky enough you can see the ‘big five’. Other animals you can expect to see are wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hyenas, rhinos, antelopes, birds and other species. We enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives on the vast Serengeti plains. In the early morning and evening light, the Serengeti landscape is stunningly beautiful. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, including more than three million large mammals. The park is one that can never disappoint. One is spoilt by the variety of bird and wildlife species in this game reserve.
Serengeti Sopa lodge – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included.

Day 5-6: Follow the migration paths in the Southern Serengeti corridor
Today you will leave after breakfast and with lunch packet you will drive as you follow the migrations paths to the Southern Serengeti corridor. Each year around the same time, the circular great wildebeest migration begins in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area of the southern Serengeti in Tanzania. This migration is a natural phenomenon determined by the availability of grazing. This phase lasts from approximately January to March, when the calving season begins – a time when there is plenty of rain-ripened grass available for the 260,000 zebra that precede 1.7 million wildebeest and the following hundreds of thousands of other plains game, including around 470,000 gazelles

Dangers is everywhere and packs of lion, cheetahs and other carnivores are everywhere waiting for the right moment to strike; the scenes are amazing.
You will enjoy picnic lunch packet or hot lunch in your camp depending with the wildlife movement.
Later in the evening you will drive to your camp for overnight rest.
Kenzan mobile tented camps – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included.

Day 7: Game drive in Ngorongoro crater
After breakfast depart southwards towards Ngorongoro. Upon arrival we descend some 610 meters into the crater, which is home to an abundance of wildlife and a photogenic paradise, for a full day of game viewing drive with picnic lunch at a scenic site (hippos pool). Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world teams with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Prides of lions, herds of Cape buffalo, impala, Thompson gazelles, rhino, golden and black backed jackal, zebra, cheetah, leopard and the spotted hyena freely roam on the crater floor plains. Unmatched for its natural variety and breath taking beauty, there are few places on earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes exist inside a region this size. Apart from its wildlife riches, the crater is also a home to hundreds of bird species, refreshing in the small lakes in the crater floor.
Ngorongoro Rhino lodge – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included
